Frequently Asked Questions

Hey, this race just opened up for registration.  Nobody even knew it was happening.  So, we don't have any questions yet.  But when we do get some questions we'll post the answers here.  If you have a question please Contact Us, but please don't ask us anything like this:

Q: Are strollers allowed on the course?

A: Yes, strollers are allowed, but we ask that stroller participants start in the back.

Q: Are dogs allowed on the course?

A: No, dogs are not allowed in the race.  Our race insurance will not allow us to permit dogs on the course.

Q: If my Mom had a tattoo when I was born, will the tattoo show on my skin too?

Q: If something “goes without saying,” why do people still say it?

Q: What type of animal is a cantaloupe?

A: Clearly it is the type of animal that is not able to just run off and get married without having a formal wedding ceremony.  On a related note, one time my dad convinced my sister that Spam comes from a Spamalope.

Q: What should you say to a runner before the start of the Slamrock 5K?
A: Irish you luck

Q: Did you consider the name St. Batrick's Day 5K?

A: No.  But if we ever do a race than ends on a hockey rink it will be named the St. Hatrick's Day 5Keh.

Q: I'm confused.  Is this a St. Patrick's Day themed race, or a baseball themed race?

A: Yep.
